Valley View Elementary School, Richmond, CA joined CHALk4PEACE for its 4th straight year.
Once again, the entire school of 350 students, teachers and parents spilled out onto the playground
to "singlehandedly" cover more than half a football field's worth of drawings and messages of peace and hope!
Our thanks to Ms. Cheryl Cotton, Principal for the organization of the overall event, including the lunch lectures
and to the Valley View educators for creating over a dozen large peace symbols for the students to decorate.
It was hot: but not nearly as hot as the art...
