Cragmont Elementary School is nestled in the hills of Berkeley.
One of the first schools in the nation to embrace this as a school-wide event,
a multitude of people turned out to celebrate Cragmont's creativity of peace.
Some of the best photographic work at a CHALK4PEACE site may have been
done here, on a picture perfect day.
Spearheaded by Anthony Chavez and Kelly Keller, Cragmont parents,
with Brenda Grissom and the Cragmont PTA, the young artists went
to work and wove, with chalk, one of the definitive tapestries of peace.
