ARTS ALIVE Creativity Center took the lead in Santa Barbara, creating
a multi tiered arts event for CHALK4PEACE down by the beach.
Some 500 "chalksters" decorated the wall, a continuous drawing that
stretched for a thousand feet! Many enlightened organizations participated,
as well as incredible musicians, dancers and entertainers to bring attention
to just how important peace is and how much fun peace can be!
CHALK4PEACE thanks Morris B. Squire for his support of CHALK4PEACE;
and Laura Inks and her crew at ARTS ALIVE Creativity Center in SB
for the countless hours and dedicated efforts they made to bring
the event to the public's attention, to include the community;
and for the visionary approach they took in creating their CHALK4PEACE event.
