The Museum of Modern ARF
John Aaron - Artist and Director
Style:
The Museum of Modern ARF closed its doors after four years
of bringing cutting edge visual arts to the DC area.
Its physical space was taken over by a new restaurant.
Its demise was chronicled in the Washington Post Business Section,
in the article, November 13, 2006.
More than 300 artists from more than 30 countries exhibited
at the museum; and its chalk painting events, including
CHALK4PEACE, reached some hundred thousand artists of all ages.
Thank you too, Clarendon, for the run. It was fun!
Say hi to all of Sonnet's friends for us.
John Aaron, Director, Artist and Educator has relocated
Modern ARF to California. Visit this site often for updates
and information on the new studio and CHALK4PEACE 2007.
The trip west was referred to as the "Hi-Ho Silver" Tour.
