The Organization of American States presented their second CHALK4PEACE event in the Nation's Capital Saturday and Sunday, September 15-16, 2007.
Distinguished speakers were
Jose Miguel Insulza, Secretary General of the Organization of American States and
Her Excellency Maria del Lujan Flores, Ambassador,
Permanent Representative of Uruguay to the Organization of American States.
More than 40 countries and 15 states were represented in chalk at the OAS site. John Aaron, Global Project Founder of CHALK4PEACE,
flew in from California Sunday morning to attend and document the event at 17th and Constitution Avenues.
