CHALK4PEACE 2011 at the Damascus Community Recreation Center, Damascus, Maryland
On 9/21/11 at 4:30 pm, children depicted their visions of world peace at Damascus Community Recreation Center.
The enthusiasm was high and artistic abilities were enhanced by smiles that lit up our drawings. We talked about
a world without the stress of fighting. We made closer friends with other community members and joined together
in our own celebration of peace by interacting positively. The children were a role model for their mission and
everyone pitched in with awesome attitudes.
Kudos to the staff, the kids and to Chalk4Peace for making a difference in Damascus.
